Tessa Cantalupe is a fun loving college student who loves everything cat or kitten, I can't say I blame her I love cats as well which in turn made me love the story and the character as I felt I could relate to her in that aspect. Thomas York is the total opposite, he is running from his past by buying a condo and setting up his own business, he wants to forget about his ex-girlfriend to same one who left him from his best-friend.
The story starts with Tessa's so called boyfriend decides he wants to date someone else instead of her, she can't help be feel heartbroken, as she thought they had a connection but it seems like it was just one sided, her side. When she gets a call about a stray cat and her kittens, she ends up at Thomas's front door and for a first meeting, it could have gone better.
However, it isn't long before Tessa and Thomas become more than friends, but there is things in their way, situations and people especially Thomas ex-girlfriend who decides that past choices are not always the best choices. With the past in the way, Tessa and Thomas have no chance at being together, unless their connection is special and one that can't be broken, one that neither have had before and one that will set their future on a path to greatness.
Rescued is a perfect book about finding what is lost and then rescuing it, so that it can live and love and be who they are meant to be. It's amazing story shows that it is the smallest thing that can save you and change your life.
