Good girls don’t date rockstars.
They certainly don’t take rock stars as fuck buddies.
Still a virgin at 21, Meg Smart walks a straight and narrow path. She aces her classes, excels at her part time job, and carefully avoids the black hole that is mourning her sister. There’s no room in her life for trouble–no drinks, no drugs, and especially no boyfriends.
Fine with Miles.

Rock star Miles Webb doesn’t do boyfriend. He doesn’t do intimacy, or love, or anything that isn’t effortless and casual. The only time the singer reveals himself is on stage. His gorgeous, tortured voice hints at the kind of unspeakable pain Meg understands all too well. Only the second he steps off stage he transforms into a cocky, know-it-all player.
Their chemistry is red-hot. He’s tattooed, tall, and totally irresistible. She can’t handle a one-night stand, and a relationship is totally out of the question.
That only leaves one option:
Friends with benefits. Just sex. Just fun.
No secrets, no feelings, no falling in love.
Only neither one of them can quite abide by the terms.

Meg Smart is a follow the rules kind of girl, she has her sights set on her future goal of Med School. She is always studying and working trying everything she can to make a good life for herself, it also keeps her mind off the past couple of months and the tragic events that happened and ones that made her question not only the people around her but also herself.
When Meg's friend Kara drags her along to a party, she mets the guy who's voice filled her head over the last few months, ever since she heard a song he sang. She doesn't know what to expect when she first meets Miles, he is charming, handsome and a pain in the ass all at the same time. Though she can't believe it that he wrote such a heartbreaking and moving song, Meg feels that it relates to her past perfectly but Miles must have been been through something to understand the pain that comes from those lyrics, Meg just doesn't know what yet, though she does want to find out.
As soon as Meg opens her mouth, Miles is drawn in. She isn't like the usual groupies that their band Sinful Serenade have, but he wants her and offers her a once in a lifetime opportunity to have fun, no strings attached, a friends-with-benefits type offer. Meg doesn't know what to do, she isn't the type to want a boyfriend just like Miles isn't the type to want a girlfriend.
Although, when Meg decides to take Miles up on his offer she has two request that he is honest with her, no lies at all and they can't fall in love. When she discovers that he has left out the most important thing about his past to her, she feels that history is repeating itself again and she feels like their whole friendship has been a lie.
Sing Your Heart Out is a novel about letting go of the past, living for the future and having fun at the same time. With it's sexual themes, beautiful story and real issues, it is a book that will make you think and remind you sometimes you have to let go of the past and start living for the future.

Sexy, Musical and Heartfelt.
