After I had read the first book in the Hidden Women Series I could not wait to see what happens next in the series. This book is an amazing book to read, If you like Sylvia Day then you will love Stella Knightley.

 

Just like in the last book the book is split into two different point of view and also two different time periods. The first point of view is Augustine Levert and the time period she was in which was 1800's which follows her story about how she build herself up in the world from her poor and dreadful life. It covers many of the important parts, these were what made her who she is to that day but also how she become the smart and worked hard for the life she got.

 

The second point of view is set in Sarah Thomson's point of view that is in the time period that is set in the present time and going over events that have happened to her in the past year before it goes back to the present time. In the last book Sarah was researching about a 18th century woman called Luciana Giordano for her thesis but this time she is researching for a film. The subject this time being Augustine Levert, she again find herself drawn in the this interesting woman's world as she uncovers some of her life and the places that she was from.

 

Even though this book jumps from one point of view to the next it is clear on who's point of view your reading, reading about two different period's in time is very interesting as these both women are totally different. From their clothes, to their love life's and to their time periods but their is one thing that they have in common and that is that they both have worked very hard to get to the stages in their lives. You can tell this from read the book as it explains their pasts and also their present.

 

My favourite character would have to be both Sarah and Augustine as they are both different but you can like them from the first page of their stories. They both have had to work hard to get to this point in their lives and they would fight to make sure it stays that way.

 

If I had to sum up this book in three words they would be Thrilling, Sexy and Entertaining. This book has themes of sex in it but that just makes the book even more exciting to read as it is entertaining and thrilling to read the stories of the lives that these two women have had.

 

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Sylvia Day and E L James, as you will not be able to put it down.
